DofE Practice Expedition

On Saturday 6th June - Sunday 7th June, we will be organising a Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition. If you wish to attend please arrive at Water Street School at 8:00am on 6th June and bring a cheque for £10.00 payable to "236 Squadron".

We will be starting from Barnswood Scout Camp and plan to camp there on Saturday night. Please remember to bring a packed lunch for Saturday. We will be bringing 24hr Rations but you will need snacks to eat regularly.

Plans For Recruitment

Please try and bring at least one friend down this Monday please. We need to show various outside parties that the squadron size is healthy.

If the squadron want to have a secure home for the next 5 years we really need to increase the squadron size. We will be organising a radio interview on Canalside Radio in the next few weeks so we are looking for some volunteers who want to do a small promotional slot.

A Team of 5 representing the squadron achieved a well deserved 2nd place at Exercise Dawn Patrol Adventure Training Weekend at PPA Swynnerton in Staffordshire.

Sgt Chamberlain to represent Wing in Netball (click here)

Sgt Rachel Chamberlain will be shooting hoops at next years Regional Netball Competition at Linton-On-Ouse after impressing in the Inter-Squadron event held at Wilmslow High School.
